Travel Info

The biggest airport is Orlando International Airport (MCO), but Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) is also within reasonable driving distance. For attendees arriving at MCO, you’ll find rideshare services are available for around $40-50 to the Rollins Campus.

There are also Amtrak and Sunrail trains that arrive at the Winter Park Station about half a mile from Rollins. The new Brightline express train takes passengers from Miami to Orlando International Airport (MCO), but it isn’t yet connected to the Sunrail.

Accommodations

CBAA has reserved 50 beds at the Lakeside Neighborhood residence hall on campus. Each full-size bed is located in a room with a private bath and shared living/kitchen area. There are four rooms per suite in Lakeside, so you can plan to stay with friends! Since this is a college residence hall, and not a hotel, CBAA will provide eco-friendly disposable linens for your stay on campus.

The cost for an individual staying on campus covers two nights, June 7 and 8, and includes parking, card reader building access, laundry access and eco-friendly disposable linens. Residents must strip beds, dispose of bedding and return rooms to their original state before departing on June 9th no later than 10:00 a.m.

Other recommended accommodations within walking distance include The Alfond Inn, a high-end boutique hotel owned by Rollins. Every floor has rotating installations of work from the Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art, curated and managed by the staff at the Rollins Museum of Art. All profits from this hotel support student scholarships at Rollins.

The Park Plaza Hotel is also within walking distance to campus. It’s a small, quaint property right on Park Ave., the main shopping and dining street in Winter Park.

Other options within a short drive to campus include the Hilton Garden Inn and Springhill Suites by Marriott, both in Winter Park.

Cool Things to Do
